Donald J. Trump, Christianity, and Identity Politics

A July 2016 Huffington Post article noted that 78% of white evangelical voters said that they would vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Exit polls from that election year cited by the Washington Post show the final tally to be just over 80%. That likely swung the pendulum to candidate Donald Trump, making him President of the United States.

  1. Deport immigrants who arrived in the United States as children.
  2. Increase screening of refugees.
  3. Review the H-1B visa program.
  4. Curb legal immigration.
